This DVD is part 14 of a special 18-DVD series by Great Britain Online recording the coastline of the entire British Isles at the start of the 21st century.

Our journey starts at Fleetwood. at the south of Morecambe Bay and we then journey down the North West Coast of England to Liverpool, taking in Blackpool and Southport.

From Liverpool we cross to the Isle of Man where we tour the entire coastline, starting and ending at Port Erin. We visit Port St Mary, Castletown, Douglas. Laxey, Ramsey, Point of Ayr, and Peel.

We then return to Liverpool and cross the River Mersey to Wallasey before turning west to Talacre and along the north coast of Wales to Rhyl, Colwyn Bay, and Llandudno.

The DVD provides stunning views and shows places of delightful solitude to contrast with the sheer energy and excitement of Blackpool.

The DVD generally encompasses most of the coastline of the route set out, with occasional stops to highlight places of interest, or to take in some exceptional views.
